assistance to military personnel, their immediate family members who have ID, and military 20 (or more) year retirees. Agency uses interest-free loans, grants or a combination of the two to assist with:
-emergency transportation
-food
-funeral expenses
-medical / dental needs
-rental assistance
-utility bill assistance
-disaster relief services (Pre-natural disaster preparation:Possible base evacuations due to a natural disaster, Post-natural disaster repair and replacement:Home repairs and Food and household goods to ensure quality of life, Personal catastrophic event: Fire or Flood)
Hours:
Mon., Wed., Fri. 0900-1500
Tues., Thurs. 1000-1600
Intake Process:
Call for appointment. Must have an ACTIVE Military ID.
Eligibility:
Covers Sailors, Marines, and Army currently on active duty and their immediate families ONLY.
Also retirees with 20 or more years of active military service and widows of eligible service members and retirees.
